CHANGSHA, Oct 28, 2025 — The preliminary winning list of the 11th round of China’s National Volume-Based Drug Procurement was released on October 27. Three core pharmaceutical products developed by Hunan Xianshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., namely Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution, Avatrombopag Maleate Tablets and Roxadustat Capsules, have been shortlisted in the program. The achievement recognizes the company’s product quality and R&D strength, and marks key progress in improving affordable medicine accessibility for domestic patients.
Procaterol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution
Indicated for bronchial asthma, acute bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the formulation relieves bronchospasm and improves respiratory function. Its inclusion will deliver an economical and high-quality inhalation treatment option for Chinese respiratory patients.
Avatrombopag Maleate Tablets
As an oral second-generation thrombopoietin receptor agonist, the medicine elevates platelet counts for chronic liver disease patients ahead of surgery, featuring fast efficacy and convenient oral administration. Against the previous high market price, Xianshi Pharmaceutical set a reasonable tender price to fulfill corporate social responsibility and lower patients’ medical burden. Roxadustat Capsules
