A donation ceremony was held at the headquarters of Yueyang Blue Sky Rescue Team on the morning of November 11. With coordination from the Yueyang Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and Yueyang Charity Federation, Hunan Xianshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. learned of the rescue team’s remarkable performance and contributions during flood-relief work in July. To recognize the team’s selfless dedication and noble spirit, as well as to upgrade its emergency response capability, the enterprise donated a high-performance emergency rescue vehicle. The donation acknowledges the team’s efforts and embodies the company’s practical commitment to protecting residents’ lives and property.
Yueyang Blue Sky Rescue Team is a professional emergency rescue organization founded in 2010. Adhering to the spirit of selfless dedication, it provides free emergency rescue services for the public. Equipped with advanced rescue tools and an efficient communication system, the team delivers fast and effective rescue operations. It takes the lead in responding to floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters, carrying out water rescue, mountain and wilderness search, outdoor accident disposal and emergency medical aid, forming an important safety guarantee for local residents.
Rescue vehicles have been essential for the team’s major rescue missions in recent years. During severe flooding in July, the team quickly launched rescue operations. Relying on transport kayaks and advanced drone lighting systems installed on rescue vehicles, it evacuated hundreds of trapped people efficiently, accelerating disaster relief progress and protecting the safety of rescuers.
Vehicles also play an irreplaceable role in nationwide disaster relief, mountain searches and drowning rescues across Yueyang’s counties and surrounding regions. Frequent high-intensity missions have caused serious wear and tear to existing vehicles, creating an urgent need for replacements. Against this background, the vehicle donation from Hunan Xianshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. arrives in a timely manner to strongly support the team’s development.
Yang Feng, Director of Yueyang Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Liao Zhen, General Manager of Hunan Xianshi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and other guests attended the donation ceremony to witness the charity activity. After the ceremony, the enterprise delegation visited the rescue team headquarters to learn about its organizational setup, advanced rescue equipment and standardized daily training.
